Artwork by Ian Nolan

My work stems from a fascination with the little things and how a slight
alteration or change to those little things which we come to take for granted can completely reinventĀ  them for us, making them fresh and new once again. The work usually takes place somewhere between the darkest alley in Dublin city and the sneakiest corner of an old forest nearby my house. I want people who encounter these pieces to remember the moment and thrill of that encounter and to remember what it is like to feel that sense of fascination and curiosity which we felt growing up as children, that time and place where the world seems fresh, new and exciting once again.
