Cornucopia is working with & supporting
‘Feeding the 5,000’ on this upcoming project.
Please join in on the day to be one of the 5,000
or you can volunteer to help…

• prep on Friday, November 23rd cutting up a large number
of vegetables in the DIT kitchens
• assist in our Feeding the 5,000 event on Saturday, November 24, from 12 noon to 4:00pm, in Wolfe Tone Park, Dublin 1.

During the Feeding the 5,000 event, we plan to make a free and
delicious hot vegetarian meal made entirely out of fresh misshapen
vegetables that would otherwise go to waste and wash it down with scrumptious apple juice made from wonky but wonderful apples that were destined to go unloved in orchards across the country.

The aim of the event is to raise awareness about the scale of food waste in Ireland and to highlight the positive solutions needed to tackle the food waste scandal at home and in business.

Nov 24th, 12-4pm, Wolfe Tone Park
